Dear McDonald's Customer Service Team,. I am writing to express my severe disappointment and concern regarding a serious incident of poor hygiene I experienced at your McDonald's, BLOCK-B, Unit No GA 18 & 19, Fatima Nagar, Wanowrie, Pune, Maharashtra 411040 restaurant. The incident occurred on November 29, 2025, at approximately 11:30 AM. I had ordered the Black Friday Meal priced at ₹50 via the [Mention App used, McDelivery App] to dine in at the restaurant. Upon beginning my meal, I was shocked and disgusted to discover a strand of hair clearly visible in the food. This is an unacceptable breach of fundamental food safety and hygiene standards. I immediately brought the contaminated meal to the attention of the staff at the counter. While the staff member processed a refund of ₹50 for the meal, they showed a concerning lack of reaction or acknowledgement of the severity of the issue. There was no apology offered, nor was there any attempt to offer a compensatory item or gesture. The dismissive handling of finding a foreign, unhygienic object in the food is what has compelled me to escalate this matter. I request a formal investigation into the food preparation, staff training, and sanitation protocols at the specified Pune location. As a resolution, I expect a gesture of goodwill to compensate for the distress and the hygiene risk I was subjected to. I request a complimentary coupon or voucher for a meal or item to appropriately address this serious lapse in quality control and customer service.
