I recently visited the McDonald's at SGS Mall, Pune, and the experience was a mix of good and disappointing moments. What I liked: The service for burgers, fries, and coffee was extremely quick — everything came almost instantly. Taste was good as usual. Fresh fries and the burger was nicely prepared. The seating area was clean and the staff at the counter were polite. What went wrong: I ordered ice cream, and even after waiting 30 minutes, I still didn’t receive it. After complaining, I was told that ice cream has to be picked up from the ground floor outlet, which was not informed earlier. Even downstairs, the ice cream counter staff asked me to wait again, which felt unprofessional and not the right practice. There should be clear communication between floors and better coordination so customers don’t have to run around. Overall: Good food and quick service for main items, but the ice cream service was poorly managed. Staff coordination really needs improvement.
