I visited McDonald's at the Seawoods Railway Station Subway around 12 PM today, and my experience was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. While placing my order, I was on a call with my father, and the staff member assisting me was in an unnecessary rush, pressuring me to place my order quickly. Despite clearly selecting my items, she converted it into a meal without my consent and, without asking me, chose the most expensive drink (a large strawberry milkshake) instead of the small one I had requested. This was completely against my instructions. To make matters worse, when it came time to pay, I informed her that I wanted to pay using card scan (I meant tap, but couldn’t recall the correct term at the moment). Instead of following my request, she swiped the card without my permission, despite me specifically asking for a scan/tap because I did not remember the PIN. When I pointed this out, she gave me a look of disgust, as if I was an inconvenience to her. What followed was completely unprofessional and unacceptable—when I politely requested her to scan the card instead, she rudely snapped back at me with “SCAN KUCH NAHI HOTA. IT'S CALLED TAP” in a disrespectful and condescending tone, essentially mocking me. Her overall attitude was dismissive, unfriendly, and completely lacking in customer service etiquette. When the transaction failed, I was naturally surprised and muttered to myself, “Ye kaise hua yaar,” to which she insensitively responded with “Mujhe kya pata”, further displaying her lack of professionalism and courtesy. This level of service is completely unacceptable, especially from a reputed brand like McDonald's. The staff should not be making unauthorized changes to orders, forcing expensive add-ons, mishandling payments, or speaking disrespectfully to customers. The management at this location needs to train their employees on basic customer service, professionalism, and respecting customer choices. I am extremely disappointed and expect McDonald's to address this issue seriously, ensuring such behavior is not repeated with any other customer. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
