The drive in concept in Kottayam was really comfortable as with any other joint but this comes with a cost ! Service. I had to pay “twice” for my order - and when they say lame excuses to the issue like mail has to be send, escalate and things like that for trivial matters like this it becomes irritating. Food was good - as with any Mac Donald’s I have visited. So for joints like these, service is what makes them different and I should say they have failed to meet expectations. I am a regular visitor. I always had good experience. But today while I was waiting for the food in the drive thru, I saw two girls inside through the window. One was moving her hand through her friends hair. I was actually desperate by seeing this. No hair cap..... She might be serving food with the same hand without washing. I'm blown away by the exceptional service I received at the McDonald's I visited yesterday. Not only was the food great, but the staff went above and beyond to help me in a very unexpected way. My Mom accidentally left a gold earring in the parking lot, and She didn't realize it until she got home. I contacted the staff today, and they searched everywhere to find it. I'm thrilled that they were able to locate it and return it to me. Their dedication to customer satisfaction is truly impressive. I've never experienced such excellent service from a fast-food chain before. Kudos to the team for their honesty, kindness, and willingness to help.
