Absolutely unacceptable service at the McDonald’s Vijaya Nexus Mall outlet. I placed my order at the self-service mini kiosk outside the store and chose Pay at Counter. Took the printed bill, paid at the counter at 19:21:09, and sat down to wait. Here’s the kicker: I deliberately sat within 4 feet of the cash counter, in clear view of the staff, so there was zero chance of missing my order or being “not present.” I stayed there the entire time. From 19:21 to 19:48, I watched multiple groups of people come in, place orders, receive food, and leave — while my order was never called, never delivered, nothing. I kept waiting, assuming maybe it was delayed. At 19:56, after waiting over 35 minutes, I finally went to the counter to ask for a refund because I still hadn’t received my food. The cashier looked confused and asked what happened. When my Order No. 13 was called out to the kitchen, the staff reacted like they were hearing it for the first time, which clearly means the order never even reached the kitchen. Only then was I told to sit back down and that my order would be ready “in one minute.” I finally received my food at 20:00, almost 40 minutes after paying. This was not a kitchen delay. This was a complete breakdown in order handling between the kiosk, counter, and kitchen. My entire schedule was thrown off, and not once did anyone proactively check, explain, or offer compensation. I have photo and video proof of the timeline and the fact that I was seated right next to the counter the whole time. I’m a regular McDonald’s customer, and this experience was genuinely disappointing. Staff training and internal processes at this outlet seriously need attention. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
