Very poor service management and not able to handle large volumes of crowd it seems in comparison as it was still not over crowded The manager was lost, the staff was lost, we as customers were continuously reminding them and there was a long wait, dominos can deliver a pizza in 30mins and you can’t handover a takeaway order which is really Sad 27th sep I revisited at 1242 at nothing has changed !!! I recently visited McCafé located on ECR Road, Palavakkam. The ambience here is really nice – it has a clean, cozy, and comfortable setup, which makes it a good spot to sit, relax, or catch up with friends. The seating is well-arranged, and the atmosphere feels welcoming if you’re looking to spend some time over coffee. In terms of taste, though, it was a bit of a mixed experience. The food and beverages were okay but didn’t really match my expectations from McCafé. The flavors felt average, not bad but not as impressive as I was hoping for. Given the brand name, I expected something a little more special in terms of taste and quality. Service was decent and the staff were polite, but I think there’s room for improvement in both the menu execution and overall consistency of flavors. Overall, I’d say this McCafé is a nice place if you’re looking for good ambience and a comfortable hangout spot on ECR, but when it comes to taste, it was just average for me. I usually enjoy McDonald's, but after visiting this location, I can confidently say I will never return. The service was horrendous. I waited over 20 minutes for a simple order—an order that wasn’t even complicated. The staff seemed disorganized, and despite a line of customers, no one seemed to care about the long wait. The worst part? The employees were completely uninterested in even acknowledging how long we had been waiting. There was no communication about delays, and when I finally got my food, it was sloppy and slapped together with zero care. This isn't just an isolated incident either; I've been here multiple times, and the service has always been slow and disappointing. It's clear the management doesn't care about efficiency or customer satisfaction. If you're craving McDonald's, do yourself a favor and avoid this location. It's honestly not worth it.
