This is a wonderful hotel. Big rooms with cassette ac. Bathrooms are big and spacious. Only issue is this is away from the Kumbakonam center but very close to Swamimalai temple. The approach road is small but manageable. They have their own Vegetarian restaurant. Small pool and gym in the facility . Parking is available for both cars and 2 wheelers Please follow google maps but when you see their hotel signage on the mainroad, take that right turn when heading towards Swamimalai. Invariably maps shows the next road which is technically the backside of the hotel but not approachable. Management can improve on their sevices and maintanence of the property. Please also ensure your lift lights don't blink when the elevator is moving. It has been designed as a feature but generally flickering happens due to low power in major cities. Please change the setting. Over all a good hotel and you can have a comfortable stay in Kumbakonam. Service: 5

Stayed at Mayapuri Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The staff were warm and attentive, the room was clean and cozy, and small touches made all the difference. Food was delicious and felt homely. Location was perfect—peaceful yet close to key spots. Only minor issue was Wi-Fi during peak hours, but overall it didn’t affect my stay. Truly felt cared for. Would definitely stay again.
