Among other Indian cuisune places to eat at, this restaurant can be one of the greatest. The chef at Maya Restaurant cooks good beef curry, fish curry and roast beef. Many people point out that the staff is well-trained at this place. A number of visitors have noticed that the service is enjoyable. From the guests' viewpoint, prices are moderate. As a lot of reviewers remark, the atmosphere is homey. But google users rated this place and it didn't get a high rating.

Literally they are exploiting customers, they have parking , so most of the travellers choose the place to park and have food. Hygeine: tables are not clean , there is no proper maintenance Service: they have only one supplier when we visited , he is taking care of everything , where they have 2 or more persons at billing. So that they can't provide anything at on time , water was provided when we finished food, coffee after we done the handwash , by the time another table people left without taking the coffee, and too much ignorance. Quantity: portion served is really small they are using utensils to mask it . Taste : egg curry is egg+ chillipowder masla , kadala curry is very poor , beef curry having the few flavours of meat that's all .....all others are very poor. All the breakfast items like appam , idiyappam , dosa ,porotta don't even have a basic standards of street food atleast Price : charges are really high , have breakfast for 3 you'll get a minimum of 300- 400 bill Wahroom( handwash) : most unhygienic and old washrooms I've seen on the last 5 years ....4 or 5 wash basins on a congested place .not more than 2 persons can't stand there, and even 1 is not working, no maintenance or repairs . Bathroom: as travellers many drop here to use wahroom also , only two and that too too close to the wash basins and no cleaning at all.eventhough we visited at morning it was not clean Air conditioning: Ac section is difference inside it most of the seating outside there is only 4 tables. So most of the families prefer inside , 4 or 5 ac ...only 2 is working that too not functioning well. Better go empty stomach until you reach anyothers on the palai- ettumanoor road. Worst food ever I experienced. Cold food especially dosa items. Staffs have no manners. If you want to experience cold and stupid food you can go- Maya restaurant,Konnanam Buildings, Near Mangarakkalunku, Palai Rd, Ettumanoor, Kottayam, Kerala 686631.
