Extremely Disappointing Experience My experience at Mavericks Restaurant, Kolkata was absolutely terrible and one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The food quality was shockingly poor. Most of the dishes were served cold, as if they had been prepared long before and simply reheated badly — if reheated at all. The taste was completely bland and lifeless. Every single item we ordered tasted almost identical, as though the same cheap, common spices were carelessly used in everything. There was no distinct flavor, no freshness, and no effort in preparation. It felt like zero attention was given to quality control. The service was even worse than the food. The staff was slow, inattentive, and completely unresponsive. We had to repeatedly call someone just to get basic assistance. There was no professionalism, no courtesy, and no sense of responsibility toward customers. Orders were delayed without explanation, and no one seemed to care. The place itself is congested and uncomfortable. Tables are cramped together with barely any space to move. Instead of a pleasant dining environment, it felt chaotic and poorly managed. Considering the prices they charge, the experience was absolutely not worth it. Poor food, delayed service, indifferent staff, and uncomfortable seating — everything about this visit was disappointing. I would strongly advise others to think twice before visiting. Had dining in the cafe,very poor experience.The taste was very bad and there was odor in the items as if they were of the previous day mixed. The paneer was sour in taste ,either was fermented or prepared in the fermented gravy. The items served were very cold and the breads were over cooked.There was rarely two table occupied at that time but the service was very poor and unresponsive. They need to improve their services for years of efforts to come upto average. Never recommend someone to spoil the time and mood. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The food was served cold, lacked any real flavor, and appeared poorly prepared. Service was slow and disinterested despite the restaurant not being busy. Cleanliness was also questionable. I would not recommend this place and won’t be returning.
