Match Point is pretty near MGR Film City. Many people find that the staff is friendly here. The enjoyable service is a big advantage of this bar. The charming atmosphere won't attract many guests. Google users rated Match Point and it didn't get a high rating.

This is the only restaurant within the Taj Hotel. We opted for the buffet, and while the selection was extensive, the price felt somewhat steep, as noted in other reviews. Parking: Valet parking is available. Food was of poor quality taste. Stale and uninteresting. Expected better from Taj. When we paid by cash they gave us 75rs. Less telling they don't have change. And told us you can gpay the bill or pay by credit card. Well you should not then accept the cash payment for bills, if you can't provide the customers change. Or have courtsey to ask customer that can you provide the change? They simply coughed up 75rs. As a tip. Tip is a personal choice and we might have given more also but have decency to first settle the bill properly. Staff was ever confused and untrained. Better tasting food is served in even theatres these days. Ambience was excellent and only saving grace but food quality and taste, huge huge improvement is needed and so the training of the staff. Posting this while having buffet at match point restaurant at Taj Wellington mews, Chennai. The food was just average, expected better from Taj. Most of the food was cold. Decent options, dessert options were good. Disappointed by the buffet, we ordered food, which took a long time to arrive. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹2,000+ Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
