Master chef old Goa restaurant -. Received Non-Veg Despite Ordering Vegetarian — Deeply Hurt and Shocked Hey everyone,. I’m posting here because I’m genuinely disturbed and disappointed by an experience I had with Master chef restaurant old Goa today, and I feel it needs to be spoken about publicly. As when I called to complain the restaurant to make a complaint but response was very stocking by owner - He said it's possible you need to order from veg restaurant not here, he was not apologies for very big mistake. I specifically ordered a vegetarian dish However, when the food arrived, I was horrified to find that they had sent me a non-vegetarian Gobhi Schezwan with chicken bowl instead. As someone who follows a strict vegetarian diet— for religious, ethical, and personal reasons — even handling non-vegetarian food is distressing for me, let alone receiving it to eat unknowingly. This is not just a wrong item issue— it’s a complete disregard for customer trust, faith, and emotions. Food is deeply tied to many people’s beliefs, and such gross negligence is unacceptable. It made me feel hurt, disrespected, and extremely uncomfortable. Mistakes like these can have very serious consequences — what if someone had an allergy, or religious restrictions that cannot be violated? It’s not just about customer service, it's about basic respect and responsibility. Has anyone else faced such issues? How did you deal with it? Want community thoughts and suggestions on how to take this up further so it’s not brushed under the carpet.
