Mast Chai has been my regular hangout place with college friends. The place is in the heart of Koramangla, in the lane which has many big names like Baskin Robbin, Sony World so it is not so difficult to locate it.
A simple place with ample seating, which never makes you wait for a cup of Tea.
What makes Mast Chai different from other over-hyped coffee/tea places is the difference in the menu and the personal presence of the owner in the kitchen. The menu has a lot of offer other than just a cappucino or hot tea.
The menu list is one unqiue thing. Chai Latte, Green Mint & Earl Grey tea and Fruit Infusions. The Flavored Tea is one good thing to try.
Another good thing on the menu is the Iced tea section. Around 15-20 types of iced tea. The menu makes it a confusing situation while you order. I have almost every flavour on the iced tea section except the regular Lemon and Peach, which you get everywhere. Kiwi based drinks often impress me for the refreshing feeling just like watermelon does.
One last plus point, the pricing. The quality of the food served here is far better compared to the amount you pay for it. You end your visit here with utmost satisfaction.

I am so done going to big branded coffee chains. I have made a point to give baristas and CCDs a miss and the local players who serve a different taste and ambience. Am happy to say i have been returning to Mast Chai whenever am around and have sometime to kill, for the Tea as well as snacks.
