Machan has become my go to place to relax and have a great meal with family. The overall ambience and spread of food is good. Apart from the food, the major thing that sets Taj and Machan apart is the staff courtesy and behaviour which is top notch. Special thanks to Mr. Ramnath, Hitesh and the entire Machan staff. I recently took my family to Leela (Citrus) due to proximity to my residence but my family insisted on continuing with Machan all because of how the staff is courteous and of course good food. Terrible Sunday brunch experience! Soiled plates piling up on the tables, cutlery not replaced anytime, no one waiting the tables. The grilled meat was fully cold and the rest of the food was strictly below average. There is an extremely pungent air freshner used inside the lobby and restaurant indoor area, some of us got a headache because the smell was piercing. The so called live music was a disservice to our ear drums. The worst was that diaper changing rooms are located inside the ladies toilet. So me being a man and wanting to change my 10 month old baby, I was shuffled around to different sections of the hotel to find a suitable place for me to change my babies diapers. In the end, I was given the choice to do this in the men's changing room of the spa. Absolutely pathetic!! This hotel lives in the same age as it was built and hasn't adapted itself to the new times. Do yourself a favor, avoid and go elsewhere! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
