I recently visited Martand Misal Shop in Dadar. Honestly, I found the misal to be more on the sweeter side rather than spicy. While the presentation is nice, the taste didn’t quite match my expectations. If you prefer non-spicy food, this place might suit your taste. I also tried the caramel custard, which was just average—not too great. The service was okay, not very impressive. Overall, I feel the place could improve in terms of flavor and customer experience. Nice place to try Misal pav with good quality and quantity. Loved the taste and variety here. Service was very quick and friendly. The only drawback is there is no seating arrangement for a group of more than 4 people. Could have been if there was proper ventilation and apt seating arrangement. Rest everything is good and just near the Dadar station. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I've had the pleasure of trying almost every misal at Martand Misal Dadar, and each type offers a unique taste and experience. The Dahi Misal is great for those who prefer a milder spice level, while the Butter Misal and Cheese Misal are some of the most unique I've ever tasted. The presentation here is top-notch, from the farsan to the tarri, with fresh onions and coriander on top. This attention to detail shows their commitment to quality. Although the Alu Vadi was just okay, and the buttermilk seemed a bit pricey for its quality and quantity, the overall vibe and seating area are pleasant. Highly recommended if you're in Dadar and craving a spicy misal!
