Mars Kitchen earlier known as green park restaurant Located in the complex of Hotel Mars was renovated and reopened around 6 months back...Since me and my brother were alone in home today and had to dine out..So after much discussion we zeroed in on this place...
Parking : Ample and exclusive..wont face any problems...only restaurant in pallavaram with exclusive parking for both bikes and cars...
Ambiance : Best Multi cuisine restaurant in the locality in terms of ambiance...wont get better than this...clean and well maintained...nicely chilled air-con...well maintained restrooms too...
Service : Good and Friendly...But bit on the slower side though..could be improved a bit...
Taste : Began with a complimentary Egg Soup which was average nothing great..bit watery...then ordered a half grill chicken which was a disappointment for the price(160 rs)..not only the quantity was less but also the taste was nothing great..very bland and spiceless..and the side was mayo which also was not good to taste...Then ordered a kuska(120 rs) was ok for the quantity but tasted best of the lot..Then ordered a plain naan and a butter naan with panner butter masala..both naan and butter naan which tasted decent were priced at 35rs each and also the butter naan was bigger in size..couldn understand the logic behind this...The panner butter masala(125 rs) was too sweet..the guy who took the order informed me that the gravy was sweet but i didnt expect it to be this sweet..Must have ordered something else..The main reason for zeroing on this restaurant was the availability of falooda..as per the menu..but was not available on my visit..this was not acceptable..that too on a sunday..i was totally disappointed...
Value for Money : A Decent multi cuisine restaurant in the locality of pallavaram..if wanna have a peaceful and a decent meal with your family then you fit right in...but do not expect great tastes..its all just average..
