Writing this review after Dine in and also take away couple of times: Dine in: Puri Bhaji ... oily puri and not up to the mark batata bhaji.. No onion with Puri bhaji ( Strange!!!) Piyush in a martini glass... :))) who does that?? the quantity was so less... & lot of sugar Slow service and also had to remind the waiter for the order. take away : Sabudana wada.... Really not typical Maharashtrian sabudana wada.. it just felt like I am having a sabudana wada at a typical South Indian restaurant Just Boiled Sabudana with no masala in it... Upma : its the easiest dish in universe... and it was really uncooked. May be the chef was in hurry.... :((( why put sev on it rather put some coriander.. Wada Pav : what can I say more... hard and dry pav with just fried potatoes.. masala kidhar hai bhau... ?? I was happy that some authentic Maharashtrian food is now available at Mira road... but now I am really disappointed after eating some basic snacks which were not up to the mark... I recently visited Khaugiri, a place known for its authentic Maharashtrian specialties, and I had an amazing experience. One of the standout dishes was the **Puran Poli**, which was absolutely delicious. I had been craving it for a while, and it lived up to my expectations. The flavors were spot on, and the dish was very fulfilling, leaving me completely satisfied. It’s definitely a must-try for anyone visiting. The **Misal Pav** was another highlight of the meal. It was perfectly prepared, with just the right balance of spice and flavor, making it a delightful treat for anyone who enjoys traditional Maharashtrian cuisine. The ambience of the place is also worth mentioning. The outdoor seating arrangement is great, offering a pleasant environment to enjoy your meal, especially during pleasant weather. As for the price, I was pleasantly surprised. The cost was very reasonable considering the generous portion sizes and the excellent quality of the food.
