One of the well-known biryani spots in Thrissur, we tried their chicken and beef (kuttan – calf) biryani. The taste was slightly above average, though not exceptional. The signature aroma and authentic flavor were missing, and the biryani felt a bit too oily. On the positive side, both the chicken and beef were tender and well cooked. We also tried their chilled grape lime juice, which was refreshing and delicious after the meal. The restaurant itself is clean, with a pleasant ambiance and quick, efficient service. The hospitality of the owner and staff truly stands out. Being a Sunday noon visit, the place was quite crowded. However, a major drawback is the lack of parking. Vehicles have to be left roadside, which unfortunately falls in a no-parking zone. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I recently dined at Maple Bakehouse, known for its special gravy biriyani. If you're a fan of this style, it's a suitable choice. Pair it with the passion fruit mojito or special lime juice for a refreshing twist. I sampled the fish, beef, and chicken biriyani. The fish biriyani was enjoyable, but the beef and chicken versions were a bit too heavy on the gravy for my taste. The restaurant can accommodate about 50 people and offers roadside parking. In my opinion, it was decent, but perhaps not quite living up to the hype. Prices range from 150-250 for the biriyani dishes.
