Manjottil is a well-known spot in Omasseri, often praised for its thattu kada-style dishes. During our visit, the experience was a mix of hits and misses. On the positive side, the Chicken 65 was quite good – crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. The porotta and puttu were soft and well-prepared, staying true to local taste expectations. However, the quail fry was undercooked, which was disappointing and took away from the overall meal. Since we specifically visited for that authentic thattu kada vibe, the inconsistency left us a bit let down. That said, many others seem to have had better experiences here, so it’s possible we just caught them on an off day.
