I have gone to the mango hypermarket today after hearing lot of positive feedback about this store. I must admit that the store is very good, lot of collections for all household needs and ample of parking space. I almost spent 2.5 hours today in the shop with family especially on the first floor, kept quite lot of items in the trolly (definitely not a small amount worth items) and then came down to buy the groceries. Since I have the trolly filled with items which I took from first floor, I asked at the counter whether i can keep the trolly aside and take a new one to go around and buy items and I am told that its absolutely safe and fine to keep it there and I can bill them all together. But with surprise and disappointment, when I came back to the counter in 20 -30 min just to check the items are there or not, I didn't see the trolly. Upon checking with the staffs and store manager, I am told that it's taken back assuming no customer and kept in first floor in respective places. While the staffs were gentle to admit that they took it back, it's important for the store owners to encourage advising the staffs why time is important for customers and how such an act can disappoint a customer. So please have some system/process in place to have the staffs to be bit more responsible, perhaps while advising customers to keep stuffs there and promise to take care of, better to get their phone number so that one can check whether customer left it unattended or they are still there around collecting something else. I would have definitely given a 5 star for this store, but the act from staff leads me to disappointment this time and hence change in rating. I ended up in leaving without taking anything from there. Date: 1/11/24 Time: between 545 pm - 830pm Will definitely change to 5 star - if I see the owner(s) take corrective measure on this and promise such things won't happen again.
