Had dinner at Mangalore in Bangalore, and it was a great experience. It’s a small seafood place in RR Nagar/Banashankari 6th Stage that serves Mangalorean-style food. The menu is focused, and they do a great job with the flavors. We ordered Garlic Butter Prawns, Salmon Ghee Roast, and Pomfret Ghee Roast, along with boiled rice and fish curry. The prawns were fresh and well-cooked, with a good amount of garlic and butter that didn’t overpower the dish. The Salmon Ghee Roast was flavorful, with a nice balance of spice and ghee. The Pomfret Ghee Roast was another highlight—tender, well-marinated, and cooked just right. The fish curry was simple but tasty, pairing well with the rice. The food quality is solid, and the pricing is fair. Our total bill for three people was around ₹2,000, which seemed reasonable considering the portion sizes and the freshness of the seafood. One thing to note is the limited seating. Since it operates from a food truck, there aren’t many places to sit, so it’s better for a quick meal or takeaway. That being said, the service was fast, and the staff was polite and helpful. Overall, if you’re looking for good seafood at fair prices and don’t mind the simple setup, this place is worth a visit. Would definitely go back for another meal. Perfect Spot for a Family Meal! We had a great time at Mangalore in Bangalore today! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the ghee roast , which was full of rich, coastal flavors. The staff was courteous, and the service was quick. A perfect place for a family outing. Will definitely return soon!
