The staff was courteous. The food was served in traditional style cutlery ie leaf plate, earthen glasses etc. Food could be customised to order. One could take as much if opted for Thali. The servings were otherwise also large. When we arrived, no one guided us on where to sit, so we chose a place ourselves. However, as we were leaving, one of the servers remarked that because of us, they had lost 3 customers, claiming we had occupied the table for 1 hour. This was despite the fact that we had ordered food for more than ₹450. Such treatment of making customers feel guilty for simply enjoying their lunch on a Tuesday afternoon is disappointing. If they needed the table for other customers, they could have politely informed us. We would have gladly apologised and vacated the table. There are far better ways to communicate than taunting your customers. To add to the experience, they also got our bill wrong. I don’t usually check the billing details, but when I glanced at it, I noticed they had miscalculated. The food was good, but there is a clear need for improvement in both hygiene and customer service. It certainly makes me hesitant to visit again or recommend the place to anyone because we left with a sour feeling.
