Visited Mamma Mia recently and was very disappointed with attention to order. We ordered Parmesan and Parsley fries along with Fresh Lime water. The fries were served with melted mozzarella cheese instead and a little sprinkle of coriander leaves. When pointed out, the chef and manager tried to justify this with very different accounts. The manager brought a bowl of cheese that looked like grated parmesan but the chef said he used Grana Padano. On asking why the chef used Grana Padano, he replied Parmesan is also known as Grana Padano. He seemed experienced but this statement really sealed my doubts that they're fooling paying customers with any nonsense. This may seem like a small issue but brings to light what all they may be skimping on just because a layperson buying their product may not be technically sound. Having eaten real parmesan from an authentic block in the past, whatever cheese they're passing off as parmesan is a scam. I don't understand how an establishment charging a premium on all its products is cutting down on quality and authenticity of the ingredients they use.
