Hotel Zaika Dhaba, located near Malegaon on the Dhule Highway, offers spacious parking and a generous entryway, making a strong first impression. However, upon entering, cleanliness becomes a significant concern. We visited for lunch and were informed by the waiter that the dhaba is particularly vibrant at night. We ordered the Chicken Muradabadi boneless starter, which featured a good amount of marinated and fried chicken chunks, drizzled with mayo dressing. The chicken was soft and succulent, making it a highlight of the meal. For the main course, we tried the Chicken Labbaik, which had a rich, thick red gravy with ample garam masala, adding a nice spice to the dish. Both items were flavorful and satisfying. Unfortunately, they don’t have a tandoor setup during the day, which was a letdown. However, the portion sizes were generous, easily enough for three to four people at reasonable prices. On the downside, the washroom facilities were not clean, and the Ibadat Gaah for prayers lacked proper maintenance. I urge the owner to focus on cleanliness and improve the arrangements for travelers wishing to perform namaz, as the taste of the dishes is commendable.
