Invite your family with you and have nicely cooked chicken biryani, kebabs and chicken tikka. A lot of people suppose that the staff is terrific at this place. Nice service is something that guests note in their comments. Attractive prices are what you are to pay for your meal. The atmosphere is peaceful, many visitors appreciated the concept of this restaurant. But Makhan Singh ki Biryani hasn't received a high rating from Google users.

Has been patronizing this eatery since my IITK days way back from 1997. Taste and style hasn't changed a bit and it is as delicious as it was then. First of all it's never been a Biryani, it has always been a mutton rice. It's altogether a different style of cooking, maybe came into existence from late Sh. Makkhan Singh, seen him sitting on a chair and supervising the show in those days. Whenever in Kanpur I always ensure to visit this place for a feast. Thanks for maintaining the taste and style since so long.

Makkhan Singh is one of the & most famous non-veg food joint of Kanpur, & "Makhan Singh ki Biryani" has been on top of the to-do-list for people visiting kanpur since a long-long time.
But first what everyone needs to know is that it's not exactly BIRYANI, It's TIKKA RICE. Even the shop manager would not take your order if you call it biryani.
Next coming on to the review: I had Mutton Tikka Rice from this place today after a very long time, & i did NOT enjoy it.
The mutton pieces were hard & chewy (Again).
The biryani-styled rice tasted good, but was little oily.
I would recommend it only for changing the taste (from regular biryani flavour) & to people visiting kanpur for the first time as a one-time thing (just for the sake of trying & it's popularity).
Cost: 200₹/plate
