We went there for dinner on 22 Nov 25..there was a waiting period of about 30 to 40 mins but during that time only we had ordered our food. It was my first visit to Amritsar and we had heard a lot about their fish and chicken delicacies so we ordered a tandoori chicken for starters. The service was very slow. We had to remind the waiter thrice just to get paper tissues/ towels. The food was served in installments. First came the fish,then naan/ roti,then the curries one after another and after repeated reminders and after almost finishing the food came the much awaited tandoori chicken which was nothing special.infact it wasn't marinated well, had no flavour and was just about average. I think their supplies got over due to rush and they just about managed to serve it. The taste of the curries was really good but quantity was just about sufficient for two so we had to reorder the dishes and roti which kept us waiting in between eating which spoilt our dining experience. Another thing that put me off was that they had some acquaintances and VIP guests who were taken to different room and served first. All guests must be treated equally and respectfully. One person who deserves a mention here was the gentleman attending to guests at the entrance.He was really very welcoming and polite and was handling the crowd very well despite the rush.
