Had lunch on 09 May 2024 at City Centre, Siliguri, Makhan Bhog...Special Indian Thali. All the items were too spicy for comfortable eating...horrendous! How do they expect all customers to eat such spicy food. And the Paneer pieces were pure plastic..the taste and texture speak for that. Synthetic Paneer. And the price for a thali is out of bounds...Rs. 280 per thali..2 pieces kulcha,rice, dal, paneer, aloo dum, papad, salad and a very hard gulab jamun...must be 2 days old all heated up!!

During our recent trip to Sikkim, while traveling by road from New Jalpaiguri Railway Station to Gangtok, we stopped by here at Makhan Bhog located at NH 10 to have breakfast.

Clean and hygienic place serving, no onion-no garlic pure vegetarian food. The ground floor sells various sweet and confectionery items, while the second floor is resturant. The edibles are good quality and freshly made.

Staff is good, service is prompt and limited space for parking. Must try place, if traveling by this route.
