What a lovely place? I mean so blissful that it just makes me fall in love with it again and again!
If you're a huge fan of Traditional South Indian food then this place is perfect for you and trust me, you'll thank me for that.
This place reminds me my roots and the place where I hail from. So much proud I feel about it and love the way my emotions pour straight from my heart for this place!
This place makes me feel divine and homely coz the food is simply delicious and amazing!
They say, " if you cook heartily it definitely tastes delicious" and this is exactly what I felt about the food that it was cooked straight from the heart. It simply touched my soul❤️
I'm definitely visiting this place if I come down to Auroville again????
Maiyam - Past food (Maiyam-past food) is a concept South Indian restaurant in Auroville which explores forgotten flavours of Southern India. It is primarily a vegan restaurant which incorporates age-old cooking practices and recipes into their menu. The food is simple, nutritious and full of amazing flavour. Also, they have a menu which changes daily, so everyday is a new surprise!
I happened to discover this place on my last visit to Auroville and instantly fell in love with it. The relaxed vibe, earthy ambience, the lovely hosts and adorable dogs... And most of all - the food, with its naturally authentic flavours made it a soothing experience for the tummy as well as the soul.
