This is one of a hidden gem of hotels and a must visit place with your family to have quality food at affordable prices. This place is not over hyped like VB nearby. They provide authentic quality south food, the dosas were just perfect not made like cardboard like VB does. And sambar was just awesome not like other Udupi hotel sambar with too much masala and Too sweet like payasam.

Looking to explore the authentic essence of old Bengaluru? This is the ideal spot for you.MahaLakshmi Tiffin Rooms, located in one of the beautiful streets of Bengaluru. This cafe, a kind of restaurant, offers delicious South Indian delicacies as breakfast and evening snacks.Right from the restaurant’s board to the board on which the menu is written, everything gives an old-school vibe.The restaurant’s quite spacious with minimal interiors. The checked black&white flooring and bright orange furniture give nostalgic vibes and makes it a perfect place for millennials and baby boomers.We visited on a Tuesday evening. All the tables were occupied except one so we had that table for ourselves that evening. We heard the menu from one of the staff which consists of vada, masala dosa, rava idli and rava dosa for that evening. The waiter had a puzzled look when we asked him to bring one plate of each item from the menu.First we got the vada, dipped in a cold yet flavourful sambar. My friend didn't like the sambar but I found it really tasty. The rava idli was soft, had that authentic grainy texture and was flavourful.Later we got Masala dosa and rava dosa. The masala dosa was crispy, round and was cooked with almost no oil. The rava dosa looked beautiful but was served with just chutney and sagu. The staff denied our extra cup of sambar request, saying the rava dosas were served only with sagu. I was really disheartened. But a miracle did happen, he brought a cup of sambar to our table.We had a great time here, enjoying the vibes and enjoying the food. One of the must visit restaurants of namma bengaluru.

MLTR is another famous breakfast point in Bangalore.The Masala Dose is served with extra white butter.The green chutney is very simple and absolutely makes the best combo.Set dosa is good too which is served along with chutney. One more dish to try here is murukku. These are tasty n crispy which will good with tea.
