“Betsubara” is a Japanese term humorously describing the idea of having a separate stomach for dessert. This seemed to be the case with us after having had a heavy meal where we still mustered up the courage to visit Magnolia for dessert. Of course, we were mindful to order items that could be shared, rather than be had individually, with the plan next time of simply visiting Magnolia for their cakes and ice creams. On this occasion, with kids around, the choice was ice cream, especially given the soaring temperatures of Telangana. Various flavours were enjoyed and ultimately, even though I had my eyes on a decadent slice of cake - it would have to be for another time! And given the rush, I might say the place could use a few more tables and chairs as there was quite a line-up to get our order processed. All in all, a go to for desserts if you are in the neighborhood. Very poor experience at Magnolia. Went to get a piece of cake and a coffee on a Sunday afternoon and I regret it. After waiting in line for 15 minutes to place my order and reached at the counter I can see the staff still taking other people orders and ignoring me. The place is noisy and a bit chaotic, ambiance is not great. Cake and coffee was average at best and since we opted to dine inside we asked for ceramic or glass cup for the coffee but they said all cutlery, cups and everything else is paper, like for takeaway. Definitely not coming back. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

The vibes of the place was literally very ambient. The prime location of Jubilee Hills is the cherry on the cake. The menu has varied options of cakes, pastries, deserts and ice creams. The viral “Les Treche” cake literally has a mouth melting experience but it’s over priced.
