Indian cuisine is to guests' taste at this restaurant. You can always enjoy good seafood, filet américain and fried fish at Madurai Kitchen. It's nice to try delicious cordial. This place will offer you great coffee.

We stopped by Madurai Kitchen at the Courtyard by Marriott for lunch and opted for the buffet. I was somewhat disappointed to find that the South Indian and Madurai-style dishes were quite limited and not particularly impressive. The buffet includes Chinese and Japanese counters, but having lived in a community where Chinese and Japanese cuisine is prominent, I found the quality lacking. After sampling the shrimp dim sum and an miso soup, I chose to skip most of the Asian offerings. Among the Indian dishes, the South Indian section, especially the biryanis, fell short of expectations, being spicier and less authentic. However, the mutton dishes were well-cooked and decent. The North Indian selections were better and tasted reasonably authentic. Service was a major letdown. Despite ordering items at live counters with the promise they’d be brought to our table, nothing arrived. Basic service like refilling water required repeated requests, which is disappointing given the higher prices compared to local dining options. While the restaurant offers a relaxed ambiance suitable for conversations with family and friends, I wouldn’t recommend it solely for the food or service. It might be convenient for hotel guests looking for a quick meal, but overall, I found it unimpressive for both cuisine and hospitality.
