Good pit stop just before Vandiyur tollgate at Madurai while travelling towards southern districts from Chennai or Trichy. Multiple varieties of food options available at this place. Ambiance and food are good, but the service can be improved. Separate AC dining area also available. Place is open till late night. Four wheeler parking and toilet facilities available. It's one of the worst temple city outlets... very, very poor service, and the food quality is extremely poor... I ordered for the onion podi uthappam, but I received only onion uthappam. I asked the service person about it in a humble way, but the answer from his mouth is, " Just touch and see you will find some podi on it. "... It's really very rude... then I ordered for the tea, which is not at all a tea, just a milk with some used tea powder which is unfiltered... I excused everything, but the responsible person at the cash counter is on a call for almost 1 hr.... and he never answers you and keeps speaking on his phone.... Had veg lunch meals at Temple city . Rice was not properly boiled. Taste was not good. My old age parents had a very upset stomach after eating there and vomitted later. Doesn’t stand up to the name of temple city. Seating is very crowded. You need to fight for your place. Restroom is a building away across the road and not maintained properly. Better to avoid.
