Madras coffee shop in Central Station is a good starting point for any journey :). It never let us down. But today 9-apr-2025, around 8 am, we faced some issue with the lady who was servering the coffee. She was rude to almost all the people who had any request. We were taken a step back. Otherwise, all ok. Other issue was with the people who beg for food and money when u order food here. I myself got food for them number of times, but I also think if the railway management can do something on this matter, so that passengers can have coffee or food in peace. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Idly Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian

One of best place to have breakfast in Chennai central railway station as compared to others available, although prices are bit on higher side but it justifies the taste , quality & quantity I had idly , wada combo it's was sufficient & of great taste served along with sambar , chutney & tomato chutney Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Sambar, Sambar Vada, Veg, Idly
