This place is best for veg food. The food they serve is definitely unique and freshly prepared. The concern they show towards their customers is rarely seen in any other cafe/restaurant these days. A must visit when you are in Anna Nagar.

I visit this place when ever I want some tasty food
North Indian dishes are simply authentic taste , food is always fresh and tasty .There are many combo options .
They set expectation if there is delay and the time will be precise .

I was taken to this laid back vegetarian place by a friend of mine who are raving about the place. At first sight the first impression I got was that the place is little cramped but it was clean and decently designed. I came to know that Madras Marigold cafe depends more on delivery and catering. May be this could be the reason that they do not have a bigger place. We tried the Cauliflower Manchurian for starter. I expected it to be oily but it was really nice and crispy and had a lovely tang. We then ordered few Rotis and Punjabi Dal Tadka. The food look over 20 minutes but it was worth the wait. The Dal Tadka was superb. I never expected the quality of Dal to be this good. The portion was large. It was a tad salty but the we polished off the dal and Roti in minutes. We then ordered Sambar rice. Surprise of Surprises!!! The Sambar rice was magnificent. Again the salt was a tad higher than expected but did not alter the taste of the dish. There were enough vegetables in the bowl, the accompaniment of Potato which looked more like a chinese side dish was perfect. Can you imagine Sambar rice with Chinese potato fry? perfect !!!!! The owner is someone who knows his food well. A nice lad with laid back energy. If this place was to opened in Anna Nagar in a slightly bigger place this will surely attract more clientele. This place is worth a visit !!!!!
