Madras Canteen has seen every trough and crust in the past 2 decades. From an age old small eatery where we used to wait like 20-30 minutes for their special dosa, to a sizable yet deserted restaurant, (Thanks to the newly built Ambagan Food court that offered way more options than Madras Canteen ever could). Nevertheless, Madras Canteen is a part of my core childhood memory. They recently resumed their services again. And the Dahi vada in here is worth a try.
