Guests highlight that they like Chinese cuisine at Madras Cafe. Trying nicely cooked masala dosa, idli and sambar is a nice experience here. Delicious coffee is among the best drinks to order.

It is my go to place for South Indian in Old Rajinder Nagar area. A small shop with a small sitting area with 4 tables, and reliable home delivery, they serve the most value for money meals.

The idli sambhar priced at ₹50 is perfect - both for the pocket and the taste buds. Special mention to the tamarind rice which is served with sambhar and chutney and is right balance of tangy and spice.

All in all, cannot get enough of the place. It’s my most basic comfort food when in the area.

in the evening whenever we wish to have south indian snacks, madras cafe is the name on the top of our list. the original south indian taste that we get here is found nowhere else. the white coconut chutney is so authentic and rich in flavor that it is totally unmatched.
