We (a family of three) dined at Madni Darbar Restaurant, located inside Hotel Madni Royale near the Dargah throughout our stay from 11th to 14th April 2025. We ordered or ate here three times a day and every meal was a treat. The food was consistently delicious, fresh and comforting.Some of our favourites were the Dal Khichadi, Butter Chicken and Chinese-style starters like Chicken Lollypops, Kung Pao Chicken and Chicken Crispy. Their fresh, straight-from-the-oven Tandoori Rotis and Chapatis were absolutely lip-smacking!What stood out the most was the quality and style of cooking, unlike the heavy, overly spicy fare often found in Mughlai restaurants, the food here is flavourful, mild and easy on the stomach. Perfect for families, especially if you're eating all three meals a day like we did.The staff is incredibly attentive and always ready to help. Special thanks to Abbas bhai, Kamal and the owner Sajid bhai for creating such a welcoming dining experience. The wait staff was also very kind, helpful with recommendations and service was always prompt.Overall, Madni Darbar Restaurant is highly recommended for anyone visiting Ajmer and looking for tasty, wholesome food just steps away from the Dargah.
