This place is so disgraceful. Never ever visiting again. Being one of the renowned oldest bakery in Kolhapur, with this thought I visited but experience was disappointing. We ordered 500kgs Belgian Chocolate cake whose final price was ₹600. At evening we went to collect order, baker says you've to pay ₹900 in total as cake is 850kgs. We thought this is not our order. After inspection, owner says pay ₹900 & take your cake. We confronted owner for his staff irresponsibility, carelessness & negligence to which we had to pay extra for cake which was TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT. CAKE SERVED WAS STALE. VERY SWEET. CHOCOLATE TASTE WAS NOT EVEN BELGIAN CHOCOLATE. NO ALMONDS NO DRY FRUITS NOTHING. OUR REQUESTS WERE NOT CONSIDERED. GOD KNOWS WHY THEY CHARGED SO MUCH FOR MILK CHOCOLATE TASTED FLAVOUR & WHAT KIND OF ATTITUDE THEY HAVE WITHIN THEM. We thought owner will be sensible enough to understand our issue but he defended his unprofessional staff saying her health was not proper due to which she made mistake. As if in whole Madhuri Bakery she is the only staff member to work. It's a BIG LIE. HE DEFENDED HER & HER INCONVENIENT BEHAVIOUR. SHE WAS VERY CAPABLE ENOUGH TO TAKE OUR ORDER. EVEN SAID SHE WILL CALL IF ANY ISSUE ARISES. WE HAD TO PAY EXTRA WITHOUT ANY CONCESSION FOR INATTENTIVE STAFF & HER UNACCEPTABLE MISTAKE. IF THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT CUSTOMER, YOUR BAKERY WILL BE WILL LOOSE RENOWNED TITLE & CUSTOMERS. NEVER EVER VISITING HERE AGAIN. ANYWAYS THEIR ARE WORTHY BAKERY IN KOLHAPUR WHO VALUE CUSTOMERS & SERVE AT THEIR BEST. CHARGE FOR ITS WORTH. ACCEPT STAFF MISTAKES. OWNER GIVES CONCESSION. Points they must improve - Hire professional, attentive staff & train them to actually listen, communicate, write order properly. - Call customer when they face any problem instead of taking decision on behalf of customer. Let customer decide on her own. - Value customer's money & time. - Stop defending staff for their unacceptable mistakes. Own your unprofessional behaviour by accepting mistakes. - Keep a customer friendly policy. You've to always keep in mind CUSTOMER IS THE KING.
