Had heard a lot about Madhavrao and saw the good Google ratings, so we decided to visit. The restaurant is quite expensive, so we expected the food to at least have an authentic Marathi taste. Unfortunately, most of the dishes were disappointing. Misal Pav was not spicy and tasted quite average. Thalipeeth was very bad, and Kothimbir Wadi was average, not bad but nothing special. The Kolhapuri Dum Biryani did not look fresh at all, so we had to leave it unfinished. The only thing we really liked was Sol Kadhi, which was very good. The service was also good and the staff was polite. Overall, the food was a big disappointment, especially considering the price and the expectations created by the reviews.
