Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience – Avoid Madhavrao This was one of the worst takeout experiences ever. I ordered two plates of dal batti, which clearly state on the menu that each plate comes with gutta ki sabji and churma. After waiting an unacceptable 35 minutes at the restaurant—while watching other Zomato and walk-in orders get served immediately—our order was nowhere close to ready. When I asked the staff after 20 minutes, they gave a vague “we are checking” response while laughing behind the counter, completely ignoring the customer’s concerns. Their unprofessional attitude was infuriating. To top it off, when I got home, the order was incomplete and incorrect. Only one serving of gutta ki sabji and churma was provided despite paying for two. When confronted, the restaurant absurdly claimed that multiple orders still come with just one serving—something not disclosed anywhere on the menu. This is blatant misrepresentation and a complete rip-off. This place charges a premium but offers pathetic service, poor customer respect, and food portions that are a joke. The entire experience was a waste of time and money. Unless you want to be treated disrespectfully and receive incomplete orders, steer clear of Madhavrao. Highly avoidable.
