I visited Machali Ghar (31-08) today for lunch with my family. I’ve been to this restaurant more than 8–10 times in the past, but unfortunately, this visit was a horrible experience.The service was extremely disappointing — food was served very late, and even basic orders were not taken properly. Despite multiple follow-ups, dishes were delayed, and the overall dining flow was poorly managed. To make matters worse, the captain’s behavior came across as rude and unprofessional.During checkout, the hotel staff personally accepted the issue and assured me they understood my concern. I even mentioned that I would be posting this review on Google. However, later in the week, I noticed the restaurant claiming online that “food is served within 15 minutes,” which is honestly a joke given what we experienced.It’s disappointing that, despite acknowledging everything in person, the management later denied all issues.Given this experience, I strongly suggest avoiding Machali Ghar Restaurant — especially if you’re planning a family meal or special occasion. It may completely spoil the mood. Sadly, after this visit, I don’t plan to return.

Loved the Bangda Pulimunchi, Pomfret Tawa Fry, Mutton Pepper Rasam, Chicken Tandoori Kulfi, Chicken Malvani, and the Caramel Custard & Phirni!Best place in Thane for Seafood and NonVeg Lovers.
