Dropped by The Machli Restaurant with friends for lunch, and their tagline, "pure non-veg hotel," made me wonder if I’d have to sneak in my veggies! Friends loved the Meals (₹120) with fish curry—superb but spicy—and the Maanthal Fry (₹500), which they couldn’t stop raving about. As the token vegetarian, I had Paal Kappa and a special sweet along with the meals, and was quite nice. The food was served by elder women, adding a homely touch, though there was a bit of chaos in the process. If fish is your jam, this place is a catch!
