Something fish y out here- claims to be a fish speciality place but I find it u tterly dis appointing.
Bangda fry and Surmai pan fried is very spicy and full of MSG. Bangda curry is hot red and send shivers down my spine- go easy on the chilli folks.
Ne ver again.
Fish happens to be universal, tasty, healthy and can be prepared with variety. But choices hardly available in Pune.

Its your Saturday/party night and restaurants have limited options in fish starters, you land up ordering Tandoori or koliwada fry.
Rates are steep and you start to scan other options.
No one is giving boneless fish.. except basa fish
I was recently invited to Maasa Lite, located in Kharadi. At Maasa Lite food you get is “Fusion with a global twist”.
A simple ambiance with open air seating. Menu is extensive. Offers Vegetarian, non vegetarian( fish & chicken). Rane Shinde -owner cum lady behind this concept knows how to make a customer happy with freshly made - Using variety of fishes and traditional with her innovations .
Massa Lite also means Lite on oil (lesser calories ) & pocket friendly (prices)
We started with #Solkadhi which was thick, refreshing cool and made in-house
We tried
#Peri_Peri_ Chicken _wings which were delicious and crispy.
#Rawas_ Fish _fingers – really made a huge difference . . Rawas made it way tastier and the coating was perfectly spiced. #highlyrecommended
Equally good were the Surmai ones. Served with mayonnaise.
#Surmai_Tawa Fry / Bangda Tawa were coated with red paste, flavourful and shallow fried. #superb
#Prawn_Koliwada/Rawas Koliwada boneless were crazy delicious. Loved the spicy coriander mint chutney. Not oily
#Patr_ni_Maach (Pomfret/Surmai- Steamed in banana leaf, moist and yummy. Quite similar to the Parsi version however it was more Indianised.
#Crab_Curry with Rice – classic recipe, great texture and delectable. Konkani /costal style with coconut milk.
#Chicken_Crispy/ Prawns Crispy – finger licking good like MacDonalds. Loved it #musthave
#Chicken_Makhani_Roll – a huge role. Homogeneous, moderate spicy and very filling. One is enough, goes well with a Solkadi.
#Fish_Bao – Crispy boneless surmai patties with greens, mayo and condiments. A sizeable portion. Bao can be improved as its made in-house. Otherwise Wow factor ?

This no frills place managed by the lady, the owner herself manages and supervises the place.
Dine in, comfortable covered seating becoz of the hot afternoons, take away options available at this location, opp Toy Mall in Fortune Plaza just can't be missed !
In frame is the array of the fishy affair - delectable seafood menu ? few pics of the seafood and other dishes we all enjoyed that afternoon! It's not only about seafood, they have options in other non veg - chicken and mutton dishes too - well done Team !
