Mud Café is pretty near Mahanirban Math. If you have never tried Indian cuisine, you should reserve a table and try the menu at this cafe. Taste perfectly cooked fried fish, fish finger sandwiches and egg sandwiches. Most guests recommend trying tasty mud cakes, brownies and chocolate cakes. Don't miss the opportunity to drink delicious Irish coffee, cordial or piña colada. Good cold coffee, iced green tea or vanilla iced coffee are worth a try here.
It's easy to find Mud Café due to the convenient location. The efficient staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Prompt service is something that visitors highlight in their reviews. Adequate prices are to be expected at this place. The cute decor and pleasant atmosphere let guests feel relaxed here. It's actually hard to spot this cafe among all those big shops around it.It's actually beside the Rashbehari house of SL .I orderedPassion fruit iced tea Lemon iced tea Grilled corn and cheese burst sandwich The attendants are very helpful and understanding. My friend actually broke one glass accidentally which they took care of very carefully and they didn't even charge extra for the damage charge .

This is a hidden gem cafe around Gariahat region! The house itself is a heritage property. This is the very place where the legendary Rabindrasangeet stalwart singer Debabrata Biswas used to live!Situated on Rashbehari Avenue, just after the Triangular Park crossing. It is 2-3 shops before House of SL outlet, if you're coming from Kalighat Metro. The location is extremely convenient. The thing needs to be mentioned is their ambience, it is completely different from other cafes, the Rabindrasangeets sung by Debabrata Biswas is played in the backdrop.Coming to the food. We opted for their Fish Roll (made of Catla, Prawn wrapped in Bhetki), which was enough for two and tasty as well. Wanted to try the Fish n Chips, busyt it was unavailable. Mutton Ghuni is their special item and the amount was ample. We chose Mud Special Mojito & Daab Mojito from the mocktails, and it was so-so.Two cons need to be mentioned. First the service is too slow. Secondly, at around 7:15-7:30pm most of the items were unavailable! Please try to fix these issues, otherwise a nice place to be at with your favourite person & enjoy the soothing music.
