We had ordered an arab platter which came with french fries, hummus, pita bread, cheese sauce n salad. The pita bread and the hummus seemed perfect. The place is definitely worth many visits for trying various food options on their menu.
But I guess a few months back I noticed that its changed and also heard that its not a hookah place anymore. So thought maybe I should go there now. Got a chance today to catch up with a college friend of mine. I loved the renovated look of that place. Its just so beautifully done. The seating is divided into indoor and outdoor, where in the indoor is again divided into upper and lower floor. The upper floor is just spectacular.. Actually the whole indoor seating is amazing.. It gives you a feeling of sitting in your own living room and I guess that 's what they wanted to achieve.
Although it looks all pretty I wasn't comfortable sitting there. We changed our places 2-3 times. Once, cuz the table was too high, 2nd time the table was too low, 3rd time the music was too distracting :/ .. Then we finally chose to just sit at a higher table place but yeah wasn't so comfy. The group seating looked more comfortable than the two seater places.
Anyway, last time I had taken the chocolate avalanche and even this time I had decided to go with that cuz it was heavenly. And let me tell you it hasn't changed a bit. The quantity is the same, the taste is the same..the only thing that's changed is the cost :P which is obvious.. Basically its a a big mug with a scoop of soft and smooth chocolate mousse and a scoop of chocolate ice cream over a bed of chocolate brownies topped with chocolate sauce. Serves justice to the description 'a landslide of chocolate' :P and hence its my favorite here. P.s - I would prefer the the Jr. Avalanche to the Sr. one cuz the quantity is more than sufficient as far as a dessert is concerned.
Before the avalanche I also had their chicken burger and my god that was huge. Was served with some fries and sauces, it was nicely done but strongly reminded me of the burger from burger king,kp. Nonetheless it was satisfying and worth the cost.
Parking is a huge problem there for 2 as well as 4 wheelers. You'll have to park in the lane adjacent to it or the Costa coffee lane... They dont have their own visitor's parking.
Really great student hangout place. And really good job with the interiors :)
