Compared to the usual hotel restaurant room in Himachal the room I was given was quite spacious. There was a television (but no English channels), a small refrigerator, a decent-sized desk and closet, and a large bed (also unusual in Japan). The bathroom had the usual amenities found in : toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc.Being so close to the largest there were many restaurants and convenience stores in the vicinity of the hotel. There was even a Subway Sandwich shop directly across the street. very romantic hotel, and certainly not a resort type of hotel, but overall a good place to stay while on business. We were staying in two types of room: standard twin and semi-double. Standard twin had more space but semi-double was quite spacious compared to business hotel standard in Japan. I have to admit that I even found the decoration of our semi-double room more charming than the twin room and liked it better.I was worrying after reading many reviews about centrally controlled air-conditioning since I could hardly sleep if it's too hot. However, there were thermostats in both rooms we stayed and I could adjust the room temp to my liking without any problem. Staff are very helpful and polite. They told me to leave my bag inside the room after checking out the first night and they would move my bag to the new room in the evening when I returned. was just right in front of my eyes everytime I used the toilet so it was obvious to me.
