Good choice for a sea food platter. It was a bit busy day.we were waited for 10min. Food was quite good. We ordered fish paal curry. Service: Dine in Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Fish Curry Meals

Their seafood dishes are average to very good.But meals and the side dishes thereof are just ordinary. Ambience and service are very good.Meals and regular seafood dishes are reasonably priced, but the main seafood dishes are overpriced and there is no guarantee regarding their freshness. Meenchatty restaurant is situated near to seminarypadi junction. This is a sea food restaurant and serves a variety of sea foods. Let’s start with the restaurant ambience first. The restaurant is at 1st floor and there is enough seating. But when we were there we were asked to wait for more than 20mins since there was a huge rush of people. So if you are going here in the peak hours expect a waiting time anywhere between 10-30mins. The ambience I would say is okay not that great. There is noise and rush everywhere and also if you like sea food but dont like the smell of it then trust me you are gonna hate this place. Now let’s talk about the food. We had meals with different varieties of sea food. Starting with fish fry, fish curry, kakka roast, meen chamanthy, kakka thooran, koonthal roast, cheemen roast etc. The food was really good and the quantity i would say is okay enough. They do provide sambhar and another set of veg currys as well. The pricing for the dishes is okay enough it’s not on the expensive side.
