"VMK Bakes" (formerly "MDS Bakes") is an excellent spot for a coffee break while traveling on the national highway. The venue offers plenty of parking and a good selection of tea, coffee, juices, and baked goods like bread and coconut buns. However, be sure to check the expiry dates on packaged items before you buy them. A word of caution: the restrooms are often not clean and sometimes lack water, so it's best to plan ahead if you're stopping primarily for a restroom break.
