I felt chicken is not cooked well and no taste. Raw type of feel... Mandi also with less taste..dnt try chicken mandi. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Service: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹600–800

My Worst Experience at Mandi Manzil This is my first Google review, and unfortunately, it has to be about a very bad experience. We ordered Masala Shawai Chicken. The staff insisted that it is only available with Mandi rice, so we had no choice but to order both. After 10 minutes, they told us it wasn’t available and that we’d have to wait until 9:30 PM when they would prepare it fresh. They assured us it would be served by 9:45 PM. However, at 9:45, they again delayed it, saying they needed more time. Finally, after almost 1 hour of waiting, they served the dish—while the bill, of course, came at the right time without delay. When we raised this issue at the reception, instead of apologizing, they were already prepared to defend themselves and said in Malayalam: “പിള്ളേരെ രാവിലെ മുതൽ പണിയെടുക്കാ.. അതുകൊണ്ടാണ് വൈക്കുന്നത് ” (meaning “The staff have been working since morning, so it gets delayed”). While I completely respect the staff and their hard work, this is something they should have clearly informed us at the time of order, not after making us wait so long. This was not the first bad experience either. Last year, when we ordered food, they served us rotten chicken. After we complained, they reduced the bill and explained it was due to a power shortage. At that time, we accepted it, thinking it was a one-off incident. But after repeated bad experiences, I can say this has been the worst restaurant experience for us.
