The chain of freshly prepared hot snacks is very popular in Surat with around 6 outlets. Their bestseller- Sev-khamni is a must try for all. A jug full of delicious kadhi is available for the customer to eat to his content. All snacks are prepared in Groundnut oil and are worth a try. The tables in the front space are for quick snack customers. It is usually crowded at breakfast hour, especially weekends. It opens around 6am and closes at 5pm. For tourists, I would recommend to take "Surti Bhusu" back home. It's a mixed farsaan / namkeen. Their premix instant packs are a great option to re-create the experience with your family back home. Madhi ni Khamni originates from a small town on the outskirts of Surat. This is so far the best Khamni I have had. The Garlic - ginger favour makes it unique. It is a very popular place. If ever travelling to Surat, it becomes a must have. They also serve multiple other snacks like mini samosa which has a filling of either mashed potatoes or Chana Daal, and Gota bhajis.
