We’ve visited Lush a couple of times before, and unfortunately, each experience has been disappointing. The only reason we’ve returned is because the space itself is undeniably beautiful – the decor and aesthetic are truly inviting.This time, we ordered one starter and one main combo platter. It took them an unreasonably long time to serve the food, and when it finally arrived, everything came together instead of being served in sequence. Sadly, the taste was below average. It felt like all the effort (and budget) had gone into the interiors, while the food quality, flavor, and service were completely overlooked.Even the cutlery and crockery seemed worn out and in need of replacement. To make matters worse, almost every table around us – and there weren’t many to begin with – had customers complaining about something or the other.The menu was also very limited, with several items unavailable, which has been the case in our previous visits too.Overall, Lush is a place that impresses at first glance but disappoints once the food and service come into the picture. Unless there’s a significant improvement in taste, quality, and efficiency, it’s hard to justify coming back.

A Delightful Experience at Lush - The Cafe, Guwahati Visiting Lush - The Cafe in Guwahati was an absolute treat! This beautiful, cute little pure vegetarian cafe stole our hearts with its cozy ambiance and amazing food. From the moment we stepped in, it felt warm and welcoming. We tried their Palak Patta Chaat and Cottage Cheese Steak, and both dishes were beyond fantastic. The Palak Patta Chaat was an explosion of flavors—crispy, tangy, and perfectly spiced, while the Cottage Cheese Steak was cooked to perfection, with a delightful balance of taste, aroma, and texture. The portion sizes were generous, making it all the more satisfying. What made our experience truly memorable was the exceptional service. It was our first outing at a cafe with our newborn, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. A special shoutout to Sushmita, who was unbelievably sweet and attentive. She served us with such grace and warmth that it felt like we were dining with family. If you’re looking for a cafe that combines great food, impeccable service, and a welcoming vibe, Lush - The Cafe is the place to be.
