Came for a chef’s touch, left with just a regular dinner. Had to make a reservation before visiting, so I expected a personalized experience—maybe meeting the chef or or enjoying a dish specially prepared for us. Unfortunately, that did not happen, and the service felt more standard than bespoke. The food was flavorful (especially the Malai Kofta, Lume's Vegetable fried rice and Old Monk Tiramisu) and the ambiance was nice, even the portions size was adequate for the price. The menu is just a single-page selection (which I personally prefer), similar to a European café, so don’t expect a book of options. I was also told that all the items listed on the menu were available, which is again a very good thing. Overall, good flavors, but service didn’t quite live up to the reservation hype.
